The TPV (Very small car) project was set in motion before the Second World War. A large survey was taken across the country to determine the needs for drivers in rural areas. On the 7th October 1948, the 2CV was officially presented. Equipped with a small bicylinder, it could fit up to 4 people in a very comfortable setting. The simplicity of the car was an advantage, and you could even enjoy the sun with the removable roof. The 2CV 6 appeared in 1968 and was equipped with a more powerful engine. It was produced until 1990. Solido presents the die-cast Citroën 2 CV 6 in 1:18 scale. The Beetle Sport is a variant designed to rejuvenate the clientele of the Beetle, which in 1974 was already celebrating 36 years of existence. Depending on the options, it had a specific presentation and equipment: an Indy steering wheel, race bucket seats, full-size carpet and rear window defogger. It was also possible to provide short staves, as well as a highend stereo radio. The engine did not change, the Volkswagen 1600 air-cooled engine remaining in place, with its characteristic and inimitable purr. This version would delight the Californian youth and 20,000 copies of this series would be sold in the United States. Solido presents the die-cast VW Beetle Sport in 1:18 scale. In the middle of the sixties, sales for the Citroën 2CV were starting to feel the burn from its rival, the Renault R4. The brand decided to react by producing a profound evolution of the car. The Dyane’s name found its inspiration through the catalogue of names available with Panhard, recently purchased by the car manufacturer. Similarly to its rival, the Dyane was a hatchback, equipped with modern projectors integrated into the wings with a bi-cylinder engine derived from the model used for the other cars in the brand. Destined to replace the 2CV, the Dyane left the market before it, with its commercialisation being terminated in 1983. Solido presents the die-cast Citroën Dyane in 1:18 scale. The model comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and a functioning steering system.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

As always with Porsche, when the German manufacturer associates 3 letters with the 911, one can only expect the best performances possible. With this RSR, you will get a glimpse at the heart of the Porsche legend. The model is all about efficiency with an air-cooled Flat 6 pushing 330 horsepower. The soundtrack is at as impressive as the accelerations, with lyrical flights beyond 8000 rpm. The RSR declareed war on weight with fiberglass elements and the removal of all superfluous equipment. With such power for a weight of only 900 kilos, it needed excellent brakes, which would be borrowed from the 917. The handling is helped by 10 inch rims at the front and 14 inches at the back. Engaged in 1973 on the Tour Auto, it brings only happiness to those who see it on the modern version of the track today. A nod to the original vehicle, the roof sticker is placed sideways like on the real one. Solido presents the die-cast Porsche 911 RSR Tour 1973 in 1:18 scale. So as to go beyond the single car in the brand stereotype of the Beetle, Volkswagen made several gambles during the seventies. Amongst these was a new compact car presented in 1973, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. Its success was instantaneous, and the Golf became a landmark for compact sedan hatchbacks with its GTI version boosting the brand with its humorous advertising. This first generation of Golfs received new plastic bumpers in 1978, followed by new rear lights and an interior design, before making room for the second generation.Solido presents the die-cast VW Golf in 1:18 scale. When the first 12 models in the Schuco-Piccolo series were launched in 1957 nobody had any idea at that stage that these models would still enjoy immense popularity sixty years later. This is no doubt attributed to the simple, robust and thus charming design of the models, which originally owed their appearance to the new die-cast technology of the time. Schuco Piccolos still make a good impression today on account of their excellent running qualities and their heavy zinc die-casting design like the Porsche 911 "Skiurlaub".   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

Founded in the 19th century, Heinrich Lanz AG in Mannheim very quickly developed into one of Germany‘s leading agricultural machinery manufacturers. From the 1920s, the Mannheim company went into the production of farm tractors and thus played a significant part in the motorisation of German agriculture. Under the name of Lanz Bulldog, farm tractors with a single-cylinder, glow-plug engine were produced with great success. These tractors made such an impression that the name Bulldog became widely used in Germany as a colloquial expression for farm tractors in general. During the 30s, Lanz achieved a market share of 50% in Germany and more than half its production was exported. The very finely detailed Schuco model to a scale of 1:32 depicts a Lanz Bulldog D 9506, one of Lanz‘ most successful models. Almost unchanged from 1936 to 1955, it was produced with a single-cylinder engine, legendary for its displacement of just over 10 litres and delivering 45 hp. The Lanz tractor can be hitched to the newly developed, wooden, ladder-sided cart or the Dechentreiter threshing machine. Both make a fine piece of agricultural history in miniature.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

As early as the end of 1949, the Horex Columbus plant in Bad Homburg could present its completely newly developed 350 cc Regina to a public that was enthusiastic right from the beginning. The beautiful single-cylinder machine was equipped with state-of-the-art motorcycle technology for that time. Thus it already had a telescopic spring fork, a modern straight rear wheel suspension and, as an absolute treat, light alloy full hub drum brakes which had, until then, been used almost exclusively for racing machines. The twin chrome exhaust pipes, a partly chromed fuel tank and details such as chrome rims lined in two colours turned the Regina into a real eye-catcher. The vertical long-stroke engine could produce at its peak 18 HP at 5,000 rpm, which helped this dream motorcycle of the 1950’s achieve an impressive on-road performance. Gears were changed on the Horex Regina on the motorcycle’s right-hand side, just like the leading English motorcycles – like a Triumph or Norton – at that time. The Horex Regina with single seat is a brand highlight in the high quality and precision performance Classic Motorcycle Edition 1:10 from Schuco. The series meets the highest quality standards and wows fans with its authentic high-gloss finish. For many years, its name has been a synonymous with off-road capability - the Land Rover. Badged as the Land Rover Defender since 1990, it is one of the few vehicles that for decades has been produced in its unmistakeable and almost unaltered initial form. Altogether more than 2 million vehicles were manufactured by Land Rover during its almost unbelievable 68 years of production from 1948 until 2016. This makes the „Landy“ a true classic of automotive history. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this Land Rover Defender to a scale of 1:64. Edition 1:64 models come with a metal body and chassis. In addition to the prototypical wheel rims, the Schuco 1:64 models stand out due to the many lovingly detailed components.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

From 1955 onwards it was an important task to equip the new German army with reliable 5-ton trucks. Following a very comprehensive tendering process, MAN and Mercedes-Benz emerged as the winners. The LG 315 was a further development of the L 4500 army truck, and was delivered with an all-steel driver’s cab from 1957 onwards. From mid-1958 the Daimler-Benz 315 was exclusively produced with the standard driver’s cab and a folding soft top. More than 6600 of these vehicles were supplied to the German army over the course of time. The long-bonnet vehicle was powered by a 6-cylinder multifuel engine with a capacity of 8276 ccm and output of 145 BHP. Its unladen weight was a respectable 7.7 tons. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this Mercedes-Benz LG 315 to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.
