Ferry Porsche, son of Ferdinand and the creator of the Ladybug could not find a sports car that suited him. He decided to build it himself with the objective of the best possible weight / power ratio for a reasonable price. In 1948, the car was homologated and gave birth to the Porsche legend. The 356 PRE A was equipped with an aluminum dress to reduce weight and had the flat engine of the Volkswagen Beetle, placed in the rear center of the car. The presentation took place at the Geneva Car Show of 1949 and drove the first orders. A success for the birth of a star, which is still not waning to this day, 70 years on. Solido presents the die-cast Porsche 356 A in 1:18 scale. The model comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and a functioning steering system.   Attention ! The Alpine A310 was the last Alpine designed under the guidance of Jean Rédélé. The objective of the car was to offer a less radical sports car than the Berlinette that could be used in day-to-day life. With its atypical profile, the A310 stands for everything that the Seventies came to represent. In 1982 it was commercialised with a Pack GT including widened wings, a spoiler and rear wing, as well as 15 inch rims. Its engine was a 6-cylinder. Solido presents the die-cast Alpine A310 in 1:18 scale. The model comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and a functioning steering system.   Attention ! In 1982, all the hopes of France in motorsports laid on the shoulders of one single young Frenchman named Alain Prost. After 3 seasons of F1, he decided to take a break with the support of his employer Renault and a tobacco company, the pilot's personal sponsor. Prost and Renault therefore decided to enter the Var Rally using a Renault 5 Turbo, an absolute nightmare in competition at that time. The whole affair ended in tears (an accident, more specifically) but would remain the only outing Prost made in rallies. After 3 specials, the weather conditions had become difficult, and with a large amount of rain Prost ended up losing control of his Renault 5 Turbo. Solido presents the die-cast Renault 5 Turbo in 1:18 scale. The model comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and a functioning steering system.

During the 60's the Austrian manufacturer Steyr-Puch tried to make the leap towards the automobile. After trying to design their own mini car, the Austrian forged a partnership with Fiat. An agreement was then concluded and Fiat sold to Steyr several Italian Fiat 500 frames, the latter of whom equipped them with a specific bi-cylinder engine, derived from the Italian engine. The car retains all its charm and the career of this version would keep going until 1973. 57 000 copies would eventually be sold. Solido presents the die-cast Steyr Puch 500 RSR in 1:18 scale. The model comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and a functioning steering system.   Attention ! Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

Since the VW T1 Transporter was getting rather long in the tooth after 17 years in production, and increasing numbers of competitors were trying to secure a place in the lucrative small transporter market, in August 1967 Volkswagen introduced the second generation of the VW Transporter, the T2. Compared to its predecessor the T1, the T2 was a complete and consistent new development. With the newly developed 1.6 litre engine with a powerful 47 BHP, revised independent wheel suspension and a complicated semi-trailing arm double steering axle, the T2 had extraordinarily good handling, which was able to match the handling of contemporary cars without problems. With its „new face“ with a continuous windscreen, the Volkswagen T2 was able to seamlessly continue the VW Transporter success story that began in 1950. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this VW T2a camping bus to a scale of 1:87. Edition 1:87 models come with a metal body and chassis. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail. Micro Racer Jaguar E-Type

First unveiled in 1954, Schuco Micro Racers are now once again an integral part of the Schuco Classic range. The Schuco Micro Racers still exude the irresistible charm of the traditional, mechanical toy from our childhood days thanks to their extremely robust and resilient metal design. Each Micro Racer comes with a particularly fast and long-running spring mechanism, the so-called Micro Screw, which can be used to adjust the steering precisely for flying down the finishing straight, and a lever that stops the spring mechanism and releases free-wheeling. In terms of quality and performance, the new edition of the Jaguar E-Type Micro Racer, which is still produced using original Schuco tools, is every bit as good as the original. The Micro Racer Jaguar E-Type additionally boasts opening and closing doors. The model is supplied in a replica of the original 1960s packaging. Like all Micro Racers, the Jaguar is also produced on an approximate scale of 1:40.   Attention ! Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

The Peugeot 205 Rally was a version specifically designed to offer the best sports experience while entertaining a very reasonable price. The Rally appeared in the catalog in 1988 in a three-door combo that was exclusively delivered in white. To save weight, all unnecessary equipment had been removed. Soundproofing, front and rear fog lights, defrost, radio, etc. were removed. The rev counter, GTI bucket seats and rear windows were all that remained. The Rally became the ideal weapon to start competitions with a modest budget. She was also brought in by the manufacturer themselves during the Tour de Corse 1989. Solido presents the die-cast Peugeot 205 Rally in 1:18 scale. The model comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and a functioning steering system.   Attention ! In the mid-seventies, in order to be able to offer a Porsche racing car capable of winning according to the FIA regulations of Group 4 and the associated competitions of the German Motor Racing Championship, the American IMSA GT series and the World Sportscar Championship, the Porsche 934 was developed. At the same time, the Zuffenhausen company also developed the Porsche 935 for Group 5 and the Porsche 936 for Group 6 of the World Sportscar Championship. While the 935 and 936 were originally only intended for use by the Porsche works team, the Porsche 934 was also to be offered to private racing stables. Because of the Group 4 regulations, only very limited changes to the bodywork relative to a production car were allowed. Thus, the riveted wing extensions and the front skirt extended close to the ground and with large air inlets are the most visible characteristics distinguishing the car from the Porsche 930 Turbo on which it is based. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 911 pieces a miniature model of this Porsche 934 RSR to a scale of 1:18. The painstakingly hand-produced Schuco model has numerous functions and, with its many racing details, is an invitation to a real voyage of discovery through the racing technology of the 1970s.   Attention ! As early as 1930, Fendt presented its first tractor model, the Fendt Dieselross F9. The name Dieselross related to the workhorses still widely used at the time in farming but bit-by-bit being displaced by dieselpowered tractors. The Fendt Dieselross F20G on which our Schuco model is based was Fendt‘s mid-range model from 1951. Over 6,300 were built up to 1957 and had an upright, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with a displacement of 1.5 litres, delivering 20 hp through an 8-speed gearbox to the rear axle. This permitted speeds from 0.8 to 20 km/h (0.5 - 12.5 mph). Schuco presents the die-cast Fendt F20G Dieselross with cuttor bar in 1:43 scale. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.   Attention ! Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

After the first Porsche sports car, the so-called Porsche No. 1, was individually licensed for road traffic as early as the 8th of June 1948, in March 1949, Porsche presented its first production sports car at the Geneva Salon de l‘Auto, the legendary Porsche 356. Using classical tuning techniques, such as modified cylinder heads and twin carburettors, on the 4-cylinder boxer engine taken over from the VW Beetle, the engine power of the first Porsche 356 could be increased to a respectable 40 hp. Between 1949 and 1950, a total of 44 coupé and 8 convertible versions of the so-called „Gmünd Porsche 356“ were entirely hand-built. In 1950, Porsche moved back to its main factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in which, by the end of production of the type 365 in April 1965, slightly over 76,000 of this sports car icon were produced. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Porsche 356 Gmünd Cabriolet to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. This line, consisting of resin as the material, stands for exceptional and highly filigree small series models. By means of this highgrade model material, it is possible to produce very rare and exotic exemplary vehicles in perfect quality and also in low and exclusive production runs.   Attention !
