After the first Porsche sports car, the so-called Porsche No. 1, was individually licensed for road traffic as early as the 8th of June 1948, in March 1949, Porsche presented its first production sports car at the Geneva Salon de l‘Auto, the legendary Porsche 356. Using classical tuning techniques, such as modified cylinder heads and twin carburettors, on the 4-cylinder boxer engine taken over from the VW Beetle, the engine power of the first Porsche 356 could be increased to a respectable 40 hp. Between 1949 and 1950, a total of 44 coupé and 8 convertible versions of the so-called „Gmünd Porsche 356“ were entirely hand-built. In 1950, Porsche moved back to its main factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in which, by the end of production of the type 365 in April 1965, slightly over 76,000 of this sports car icon were produced. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Porsche 356 Gmünd Coupé to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. This line, consisting of resin as the material, stands for exceptional and highly filigree small series models. By means of this highgrade model material, it is possible to produce very rare and exotic exemplary vehicles in perfect quality and also in low and exclusive production runs.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

The Triumph TR5 was the successor model to the TR4A, and appeared in the summer of 1967. This roadster, which was designed by Michelotti, only differed from its predecessors externally by additional chrome trim on the sides and several other small details. However, beneath the long bonnet of the TR5 there was now a long-stroke inline 6-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2.5 litres and output of 143 BHP. From July 1967 to September 1968, just 2,947 examples of this classic old-school British roadster were manufactured. The vehicle is now rare with the optional and particularly visually appealing “Surrey Top”. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Triumph TR5 to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. After there had been a Porsche Speedster in the Porsche product range in 1989 on the basis of the so-called G model and also in 1993 on the basis of the 964 model series, the tradition was not continued with the successor to the 964, the 993 model series. Only two 993 speedster vehicles were produced at Porsche Exclusive on the basis of the 993 model series. A green vehicle on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, and a silver vehicle for US comedian and Porsche enthusiast Jerry Seinfeld. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Porsche 911 (993) Speedster to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. In its “Original shape” at the beginning of the 1960’s and designed by the oldest son of Ferry Porsche, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, known as “Buzzi”, the 911 was introduced to the enthusiastic public in 1963 as the successor to the legendary Porsche 356. The Porsche 911 did not have its first major visual revision until model year 1974. In 1972 the responsible US authorities stipulated in the “Motor Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act” that new vehicles must not be damaged in the event of a collision of the bumper with an obstruction up to a speed of 5 mph = 8 km/h. In the so-called G model, completely new bumpers with the typical black folding bellows were used to fulfil these requirements. Together with the engine, which had increased to 2.7 litres, and many other technical improvements, the “New eleven” was produced in Zuffenhausen from September 1973. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Porsche 911 Coupé to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. Like the BMW M8 Coupé, the BMW 850i Convertible is clearly one of the BMW studies that never found its way onto the public highways. Developed as a competitor model for the new Mercedes-Benz SL R129 model series, which was also introduced at the 1989 International Car Show, this wonderful and unique BMW convertible unfortunately never made it to series production. Just 3 prototypes of the so-called BMW 850i based on the E31 model series were ever built and subjected to a comprehensive series of test drives before it was decided in Munich to stop the 850Ci convertible project because of fear that it would be a financial flop. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary BMW 850i Cabrio to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. It is distinctly one of those BMW concept cars that unfortunately never found its way onto the public roads - the BMW M8 based upon the E31 series. Undoubtedly, the 550 PS V12 engine under the bonnet would have made this dream car one of the fastest and most powerful road vehicles of its time. Various design features distinguish this M8 from the standard BMW 8 series, including especially aerodynamic exterior mirrors and widely-flared wheel arches with air scoops in front of the driven rear wheels. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary BMW M8 Coupé to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. First shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 1970, the Citroën SM was produced from 1970 to 1975 and is now regarded as one of the absolute style icons of automotive history. With a favourable drag coefficient of 0.33 - almost unbelievable for those times - the vehicle offered proof that aerodynamically favourable vehicle design need not necessarily result in uniform design ideas. The SM was fitted with a V6 engine developed by Maserati but did not prove to be a financial success for Citroen and production was swiftly ended after the takeover by the PSA-Group. Several very interesting special models based on the Citroën SM have also been produced over the years, such as the Cabriolet Mylord from Chapron, the Presidentielle presentation vehicle and a shooting-brake version. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Citroën SM Shooting Brake to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line.

Equipped with a 286 BHP and 4 litre six-cylinder engine, the Aston Martin DB6 was one of the dream sports cars par excellence from 1965 onwards. In order to be able to offer a practical convertible version of this sports car that was suitable for country and hunting trips for its demanding customers, many of whom were English, coach builders such as Harold Radford created so-called “Shooting Brakes” on the basis of the DB6. During the breaks in hunting, you could have lunch or a picnic right next to the practical sports convertible. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Aston Martin DB6 „Shooting Brake“ to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. VW Käfer Kombi blue 1:43

Companies such Beutler and Karmann from Osnabrück experimented with a wide variety of superstructure variants based on the VW Beetle in the 1950s. In addition to enchantingly attractive coupé variants, Beutler also developed a Beetle box-type van and a VW Beetle small transporter. Among other things, Karmann produced the well-known VW Karmann Ghia and also a small transporter on the technical basis of the VW Beetle. Because of the major success of the VW Transporter T1, these developments were only manufactured in very small quantities and disappeared from the market again very quickly. After the rapid growth in the 50s of the desire for free mobility combined with the wish for travel to southern countries in large sections of the population, the camping culture became widespread as never before. It quickly occurred to a few talented vehicle developers that, in addition to the trailer caravans already known since the 20s, motorised caravans, motorhomes, could be developed. Thus, in California, a building kit appeared with which a VW Beetle could be converted into a low-cost version of a small motorhome - the Bug Camper. As well as demanding some handiwork skill, the conversion did take a good deal of time. The normal space in a Beetle was not enough for two beds, a table, wall cupboards and cooking facilities, so massive changes had to be made. To achieve this, the bodywork from just in front of the windscreen to the rear end was completely removed and a wooden superstructure was then built on the remaining chassis. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this legendary VW Beetle "Motorhome" to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. From 1954, the British company „Beardalls of Nottingham“ was a very successful VW dealer. As an unusual publicity idea to draw the attention of British customers to the VW Beetle, a Beetle body was placed on a converted VW T1 box van, thus ensuring that the practical small car from Germany would attract attention. Schuco devotes a fine resin model with metal bodywork on top to this fantastic publicity vehicle. A model that should not be missed from any VW model collection. In 1966, on the occasion of its 50-year jubilee, BMW presented the compact, middle-class, 02 series saloon. The „2“ in the model designation stood for two-door and was supposed to make it easier for the customer to differentiate it from the somewhat larger „New Class“ saloon. In its time, the „02“ completed the bottom end of the BMW range and until its production was stopped in 1977, was the biggest-selling BMW of the 70s. Designed for BMW by the well-known bodywork company Baur in Stuttgart, from 1968 Baur also produced a full-size, 4-seat saloon and a Targa equipped with a roll bar for fresh air fans of the brand.
