As the first mass-production Porsche, the 911 was given a completely newly developed, air-cooled, 6-cylinder, boxer engine. BMW Isetta Exp. bl.grey 1:18

To meet the ever increasing demand for mobility during the famous German economic miracle of the 1950s, BMW presented the two-seater „MotoCoupé“ BMW Isetta in 1955. Also known as the „bubble car“ due to its round shape, this hugely popular microcar from Munich was powered by a 12-horsepower motorcycle engine. Due to its 250cc engine, the Isetta could also be driven on a motorcycle licence. Costing roughly 2,580 German marks, the Isetta helped draw many former motorcyclists into the world of cars. At total of 161,360 Isettas were manufactured between 1955 and 1962. This classic car of the economic miracle years is now presented by Schuco as a high-quality metal model of its Schuco Edition 1:18 series. Meticulously and elaborately crafted by hand, the model boasts a wide range of features. The big front door can be opened and closed, the prototypical, fully functional steering is fitted with an exact replica of the typical universal joint, while the removable engine cover provides a perfect view of the faithfully recreated engine. Even the typical sliding side windows of the export Isetta can be opened and closed, just like on the original. Available in blue/grey the Isetta is produced in the popular 1:18 scale and limited to just 1000 copies worldwide.   Attention ! Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

After the rapid growth in the 50s of the desire for free mobility combined with the wish for travel to southern countries in large sections of the population, the camping culture became widespread as never before. It quickly occurred to a few talented vehicle developers that, in addition to the trailer caravans already known since the 20s, motorised caravans, motorhomes, could be developed. Thus, in California, a building kit appeared with which a VW Beetle could be converted into a low-cost version of a small motorhome - the Bug Camper. As well as demanding some handiwork skill, the conversion did take a good deal of time. The normal space in a Beetle was not enough for two beds, a table, wall cupboards and cooking facilities, so massive changes had to be made. To achieve this, the bodywork from just in front of the windscreen to the rear end was completely removed and a wooden superstructure was then built on the remaining chassis. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary VW Beetle Motorhome to a scale of 1:18 in the PRO R line. This line, consisting of resin as the material, stands for exceptional and highly filigree small series models. By means of this highgrade model material, it is possible to produce very rare and exotic exemplary vehicles in perfect quality and also in low and exclusive production runs.   Attention ! Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

In the early summer of 1945, aircraft engineer Fritz M. Fend returned to his home town of Rosenheim. During the war he had been instrumental in the development of the Messerschmitt Me 262. In 1946, he began to develop a human-powered vehicle for the large numbers of disabled war veterans returning from the front, the “Flitzer”. In order to increase mobility, the three-wheeled “Flitzer” was subsequently equipped with a combustion engine. After years of further development and improvement, the time had come in March 1953 to present the first “Messerschmitt cabin scooter”, the KR 175. Success followed very quickly. In 1955 alone, the Messerschmitt factory produced more than 12,000 units of the 9 horsepower KR 200, which sold for 2500 Deutschmarks. The four-wheeled Messerschmitt Tiger, fitted with a 500 cc Fichtel & Sachs engine, was launched in 1958 as the top-of-the-range model with a power output of just 19.5 horsepower – but a top speed of 125 km/h. After a run of only 300 vehicles, production of the Tiger was stopped in autumn 1961, which makes this unusual small vehicle a sought-after and highly valuable collector’s vehicle today. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary FMR TG 500 to a scale of 1:18 in the PRO R line. Founded in 1883 in Pilsting as an agricultural machinery factory, Hans Glas GmbH of Dingolfing entered the lucrative two-wheel business at the start of the 1950s with the production of its Goggo scooter. A small car known as the Goggomobil was then launched in 1955 with great success, offering space for two adults and two children and costing 3,000 DM. In the years that followed, Glas evolved more and more into a serious manufacturer of cars. This led to the launch of the Glas 2600 V8 at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) in 1965. A very elegant coupé with coachwork designed by Frua and a V8 engine developed by the Glas company itself. This beautiful sports coupé, also nicknamed the „Glaserati“, unfortunately did not prove to be a commercial success and consequently Glas was sold to BMW AG in 1966. There, production of the coupé continued for a while as the BMW Glas 3000 V8 after some minor revisions were made to the design and features. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Glas 2600 to a scale of 1:18 in the PRO R line. It is distinctly one of those BMW concept cars that unfortunately never found its way onto the public roads - the BMW M8 based upon the E31 series. Undoubtedly, the 550 PS V12 engine under the bonnet would have made this dream car one of the fastest and most powerful road vehicles of its time. Various design features distinguish this M8 from the standard BMW 8 series, including especially aerodynamic exterior mirrors and widely-flared wheel arches with air scoops in front of the driven rear wheels. Schuco now presents a miniature PRO.R line model of the BMW M8 in scale 1:18 limited to 500 copies worldwide. This series has become established as a small series model line made of resin that stands for extraordinary and highly sophisticated models. Thanks to this top quality model-making material, it is possible to create extremely rare and exotic model vehicles in perfect quality and with never-before-seen precision.   Attention ! After the first Porsche sports car, the so-called Porsche No. 1, was individually licensed for road traffic as early as the 8th of June 1948, in March 1949, Porsche presented its first production sports car at the Geneva Salon de l‘Auto, the legendary Porsche 356. Using classical tuning techniques, such as modified cylinder heads and twin carburettors, on the 4-cylinder boxer engine taken over from the VW Beetle, the engine power of the first Porsche 356 could be increased to a respectable 40 hp. Between 1949 and 1950, a total of 44 coupé and 8 convertible versions of the so-called „Gmünd Porsche 356“ were entirely hand-built. In 1950, Porsche moved back to its main factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in which, by the end of production of the type 365 in April 1965, slightly over 76,000 of this sports car icon were produced. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Porsche 356 Gmünd Coupé to a scale of 1:18 in the PRO R line. In the mid-seventies, in order to be able to offer a Porsche racing car capable of winning according to the FIA regulations of Group 4 and the associated competitions of the German Motor Racing Championship, the American IMSA GT series and the World Sportscar Championship, the Porsche 934 was developed. At the same time, the Zuffenhausen company also developed the Porsche 935 for Group 5 and the Porsche 936 for Group 6 of the World Sportscar Championship. While the 935 and 936 were originally only intended for use by the Porsche works team, the Porsche 934 was also to be offered to private racing stables. Because of the Group 4 regulations, only very limited changes to the bodywork relative to a production car were allowed. Thus, the riveted wing extensions and the front skirt extended close to the ground and with large air inlets are the most visible characteristics distinguishing the car from the Porsche 930 Turbo on which it is based. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 911 pieces a miniature model of this Porsche 934 RSR to a scale of 1:18. The painstakingly hand-produced Schuco model has numerous functions and, with its many racing details, is an invitation to a real voyage of discovery through the racing technology of the 1970s.   Attention ! The long-awaited successor to the Zuffenhausen car brand’s first production sports car, the Porsche 356, was presented in September 1963 at the IAA in Frankfurt under the name Porsche 901. Since three-digit number designations with a zero in the middle were already copyrighted by Peugeot and, as a result, an objection had been made to the “901” designation, Porsche decided without further ado to release the car onto the market under the name Porsche 911. A model name which very soon started to have a magical effect on the motor world and all sports car enthusiasts. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 911 pieces a miniature model of this Porsche 911 S Coupé to a scale of 1:18. Just like the other models of the Schuco Edition 1:18, the Porsche 911 S comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and closing doors, a front opening hood and the opening bonnet. A fine miniature version can be found in the engine bay of the air-cooled, 2.4-litre, 6-cylinder boxer engine which produced an impressive 190HP in the original and made the Porsche 911 S, with its maximum speed of 230km/h, one of the fastest sports cars of its time. The likewise very finely detailed interior of the miniature Porsche is based on its full-size model and shares many details, like the five circular instruments typical of the 911 and the equally characteristic orange-coloured needles.   Attention ! From 1928, the Fendt company was still busy producing laboriously hand-built grass mowers. Nevertheless, in 1930 they presented the first Fendt tractor, the Fendt Dieselross F9. The name Dieselross related to the workhorses still widely used at the time in farming but bit-by-bit being displaced by diesel-powered tractors. The Fendt Dieselross F20G on which our Schuco model to a scale of 1:18 is based was Fendt‘s mid-range model from 1951. Over 6,300 were built up to 1957 and had an upright, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with a displacement of 1.5 litres, delivering 20 hp through an 8-speed gearbox to the rear axle. This permitted speeds from 0.8 to 20 km/h (0.5 - 12.5 mph). Since 1997, the former family business in Marktoberndorf has belonged to the American agricultural equipment concern, AGCO Corporation and, since 2009 has traded under the name of AGCO GmbH.   Attention ! When the first 12 models in the Schuco-Piccolo series were launched in 1957 nobody had any idea at that stage that these models would still enjoy immense popularity sixty years later. This is no doubt attributed to the simple, robust and thus charming design of the models, which originally owed their appearance to the new die-cast technology of the time. Schuco Piccolos still make a good impression today on account of their excellent running qualities and their heavy zinc die-casting design like the Mini "Mr. B".   Attention ! Hans Glas started production of the Goggo motor scooter in 1951, and it was Germany’s best selling scooter for quite some time. Encouraged by this financial success, the Goggomobil T250 followed in 1955, and therefore the lucrative entry into the small vehicle market, which was growing rapidly at the time. When the Deutsch Bundespost (German Post Office) was looking for a low-cost small delivery vehicle as a useful addition to the VW Transporter in the early 50’s, the Glas factory in Dingolfing developed the TL 250, a small and extremely agile small transporter. Today, both the Goggo Limousine and the small transporter are sought-after collector’s items and an integral part of the old-timer scene. Schuco presents the die-cast Goggo Limousine and the Goggo small van in 1:43 scale. Schuco Piccolos still make a good impression today on account of their excellent running qualities and their heavy zinc die-casting design like the Land Rover with trailer an DB5. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Porsche 356 Gmünd Cabriolet to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. This line, consisting of resin as the material, stands for exceptional and highly filigree small series models. By means of this highgrade model material, it is possible to produce very rare and exotic exemplary vehicles in perfect quality and also in low and exclusive production runs.   Attention ! "As of the summer of 1967, the Triumph TR 5 became the successor to the Triumph TR 4A. The roadster, designed by Michelotti in Italy, differed from its predecessor externally only through the additional chrome trim on its sides and a few other small details. In order to meet the exhaust emission standards of the extremely important US market at that time, the TR5 was offered in the US with two Stromberg carburettors instead of petrol injection, under the model designation TR 250. The most conspicuous optical feature of the TR 250 was definitely the transverse rally strip on the bonnet, which makes it unmistakable among Triumph roadsters to this day."   Attention ! The Triumph TR5 was the successor model to the TR4A, and appeared in the summer of 1967. This roadster, which was designed by Michelotti, only differed from its predecessors externally by additional chrome trim on the sides and several other small details. However, beneath the long bonnet of the TR5 there was now a long-stroke inline 6-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2.5 litres and output of 143 BHP. From July 1967 to September 1968, just 2,947 examples of this classic old-school British roadster were manufactured. The vehicle is now rare with the optional and particularly visually appealing “Surrey Top”. After there had been a Porsche Speedster in the Porsche product range in 1989 on the basis of the so-called G model and also in 1993 on the basis of the 964 model series, the tradition was not continued with the successor to the 964, the 993 model series. A green vehicle on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, and a silver vehicle for US comedian and Porsche enthusiast Jerry Seinfeld. At Porsche in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen they have always done their utmost to fulfil even the most eccentric requests. The Porsche Exclusive department, which was the predecessor of the former special request department, has been responsible for implementing vehicle projects of this nature since 1978. Equipped with the M64/50 turbo engine from the 1994 964 Turbo 3.6, as of 1995 exactly 14 Porsche 993 Turbo high-performance convertibles have emerged, which were 112,000 DM above the price of the normal 993 Cabriolet with an end price of 264,000 DM. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this legendary VW Beetle "Motorhome" to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. In its “Original shape” at the beginning of the 1960’s and designed by the oldest son of Ferry Porsche, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, known as “Buzzi”, the 911 was introduced to the enthusiastic public in 1963 as the successor to the legendary Porsche 356. The Porsche 911 did not have its first major visual revision until model year 1974. In 1972 the responsible US authorities stipulated in the “Motor Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act” that new vehicles must not be damaged in the event of a collision of the bumper with an obstruction up to a speed of 5 mph = 8 km/h. In the so-called G model, completely new bumpers with the typical black folding bellows were used to fulfil these requirements. Together with the engine, which had increased to 2.7 litres, and many other technical improvements, the “New eleven” was produced in Zuffenhausen from September 1973. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Porsche 911 Coupé to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. First shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 1970, the Citroën SM was produced from 1970 to 1975 and is now regarded as one of the absolute style icons of automotive history. With a favourable drag coefficient of 0.33 - almost unbelievable for those times - the vehicle offered proof that aerodynamically favourable vehicle design need not necessarily result in uniform design ideas. The SM was fitted with a V6 engine developed by Maserati but did not prove to be a financial success for Citroen and production was swiftly ended after the takeover by the PSA-Group. Several very interesting special models based on the Citroën SM have also been produced over the years, such as the Cabriolet Mylord from Chapron, the Presidentielle presentation vehicle and a shooting-brake version. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary Citroën SM Shooting Brake to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line.
