Leopard 1A1 BW green 1:87

After the end of World War II, the German armaments industry was not permitted to resume tank development or production. Thus, the re-armament of the Federal Republic of Germany from the mid-1950’s and the associated creation of, and initial equipment for, the German Armed Forces proceeded with the aid of U.S. and British armoured vehicles. The German armaments industry also wouldn’t have been technically capable at that time of joining the advances in tank development since 1945. Thus only in 1959 did the development of a distinct, German standard tank begin again. After its completion, this was to gradually replace the American M-47 battle tanks. Production for the Leopard commenced in the autumn of 1965 and the first lot of 400 units was completed by June 1966. The Leopard was constantly being further developed to boost its combat effectiveness. The Leopard 1A1 model was manufactured between 1975 and 1977. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this Leopard 1A1 to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

MAN truck 10t GL BW 1:87

The 4-axle MAN 10t gl truck completes the MAN CAT-I family. Equipped with a 320 BHP Deutz engine, an exhaust turbocharger and charge air cooling, this truck has been used by the supply units of the armed forces divisions, brigades and corps groups of the army since November 1976. Because of the extended loading surface, this vehicle is used to transport bulk consumables such as ammunition and fuel, and supplies the combat units. MAN built two versions between 1976 and 1985. One version had a Rotzler 5-ton cable winch, and was intended for use with handling equipment such as fork lifts. The 464 model, on the other hand, had an Atlas-Weyhausen 1-ton loading crane mounted in the left-hand side in the middle of the loading surface. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this MAN 10t to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. Like the M47 Patton battle tank, the American M48 was a tank from the Cold War period. Like its predecessor the M47, it was also officially designated “Medium Tank – 90 mm Gun” by the American troops. It was also known as the “M 48 Patton II”. A total of more than 12,000 M48 tanks were built between 1952 and 1959. The 45-ton battle tank had a crew of 4 soldiers, a top speed of 45 kilometres per hour and a range of just over 100 kilometres overland. The last M48 tanks were used in non-active equipment units by the German Army until 1993. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this M48G infantry combat vehicle to a scale of 1:87. New Product

The M47 Patton battle tank was an American tank from the Cold War. The Army Department‘s official designation for the M47 was - M47 Medium Tank – 90 mm Gun. The vehicle was named after General George S. Patton, the extremely popular but not uncontroversial commander of the 3rd US army during World War 2. Since Germany still had none of its own newly-developed tanks in the mid-1950s, it was decided to purchase a total of 1100 M47 tanks from the Americans. The first M-47 battle tank was handed over to the German Army on 19.01.1956 in Andernach. At the time, it was a major advantage to the German Army that the US Army had started to convert its tank units from the M-47 to the new M-48 in 1955. Because of this, used M-47 tanks were available at low cost or even free of charge in some cases. Only 600 of the 8500 M47 tanks which were built were delivered to the US Army. The remaining 8000 or so tanks were delivered to the NATO partners of the USA during the Cold War period. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this M47G infantry combat vehicle to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. Since the German arms industry was no longer allowed to develop its own tanks after the end of the Second World War, the German Armed Forces, after its foundation in 1955, initially purchased tank models made in America or Britain. Thus, the American M113, originally designed an armoured personnel carrier (APC), was also purchased in substantial quantities from 1962. It gradually superseded the ageing M39 model. In total, the German Federal Office of Defence Technology and Procurement (BWB) ordered more than 8,000 units of the M113. In its basic configuration, the M113 can float, whereby propulsion occurs in the water by means of its treads. It is also transportable by air and can be air-dropped. The German Armed Forces has deployed the M113 for almost 40 years in 18 different versions. The M113, happily called the “Jaffa crate” due to its construction, offered space for up to 11 soldiers and was gradually superseded by the Marten and the Fox from 1971. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this M113 to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. From 1955 onwards it was an important task to equip the new German army with reliable 5-ton trucks. Following a very comprehensive tendering process, MAN and Mercedes-Benz emerged as the winners. The LG 315 was a further development of the L 4500 army truck, and was delivered with an all-steel driver’s cab from 1957 onwards. From mid-1958 the Daimler-Benz 315 was exclusively produced with the standard driver’s cab and a folding soft top. More than 6600 of these vehicles were supplied to the German army over the course of time. The long-bonnet vehicle was powered by a 6-cylinder multifuel engine with a capacity of 8276 ccm and output of 145 BHP. Its unladen weight was a respectable 7.7 tons. Leopard 2A6 BW 1:87

The Leopard 2A6 battle tank is a further development on the basis of the Leopard 2A5. The main objective of this further development by Krauss Maffei was to increase its firepower. The modifications to the tank therefore primarily concerned its weapons systems. Thus, in detail, the pipe recoil brake and trunnion bearings of the new 120 mm L/55 smoothbore cannon were strengthened and the firing control and weapons tracking systems adjusted. 160 existing Leopard 2A5 and 65 Leopard 2A4 vehicles served as the basis for the conversion to the Leopard 2A6. These battle tanks were then upgraded as part of the KWS II programme (KWS = combat value increase) directly to the Leopard 2A6. The first 2A6 from Krauss Maffei in Munich was handed over to Tank Battalion 403 of the German Armed Forces at the beginning of March 2001. The Cheetah anti-aircraft gun tank, flak tank for short, is an autonomous anti-aircraft tank fit for all weathers. Already designed and produced in the 1970’s, for a long time it formed a cornerstone of the German Armed Force’s air defences as well as those of other states. Phased out at the end of the 1990’s and beginning of the 2000’s, it is no longer operated by any of its original users. A large proportion of these anti-aircraft tanks were given to other armies after they were decommissioned. Its crew consisted of a commander, driver and a gunner. The MTU multi-fuel engine with its legendary 37.4 litre displacement generated 830 HP and meant that the Cheetah could achieve a maximum speed of up to 65 kilometres per hour with a range of around 550 kilometres when operated on-road. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this Gepard to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. The NH 90 (Nato Helicopter 90) was designed as a lightweight, all-weather and night-time multirole helicopter. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this NH 90 to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.
