Anyway, with its aluminium bodywork, the Kleinschnittger, of which almost 3000 were built between 1950 and 1957, could reach a maximum speed of 70 km/h. When the first 12 models in the Schuco-Piccolo series were launched in 1957 nobody had any idea at that stage that these models would still enjoy immense popularity sixty years later. This is no doubt attributed to the simple, robust and thus charming design of the models, which originally owed their appearance to the new die-cast technology of the time. Schuco Piccolos still make a good impression today on account of their excellent running qualities and their heavy zinc die-casting design like the Porsche 911 "Skiurlaub".   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

Founded in the 19th century, Heinrich Lanz AG in Mannheim very quickly developed into one of Germany‘s leading agricultural machinery manufacturers. From the 1920s, the Mannheim company went into the production of farm tractors and thus played a significant part in the motorisation of German agriculture. Under the name of Lanz Bulldog, farm tractors with a single-cylinder, glow-plug engine were produced with great success. These tractors made such an impression that the name Bulldog became widely used in Germany as a colloquial expression for farm tractors in general. During the 30s, Lanz achieved a market share of 50% in Germany and more than half its production was exported. The very finely detailed Schuco model to a scale of 1:32 depicts a Lanz Bulldog D 9506, one of Lanz‘ most successful models. Almost unchanged from 1936 to 1955, it was produced with a single-cylinder engine, legendary for its displacement of just over 10 litres and delivering 45 hp. The Lanz tractor can be hitched to the newly developed, wooden, ladder-sided cart or the Dechentreiter threshing machine. Both make a fine piece of agricultural history in miniature.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

Leopard 1A1 BW green 1:87

After the end of World War II, the German armaments industry was not permitted to resume tank development or production. Thus, the re-armament of the Federal Republic of Germany from the mid-1950’s and the associated creation of, and initial equipment for, the German Armed Forces proceeded with the aid of U.S. and British armoured vehicles. The German armaments industry also wouldn’t have been technically capable at that time of joining the advances in tank development since 1945. Thus only in 1959 did the development of a distinct, German standard tank begin again. After its completion, this was to gradually replace the American M-47 battle tanks. Production for the Leopard commenced in the autumn of 1965 and the first lot of 400 units was completed by June 1966. The Leopard was constantly being further developed to boost its combat effectiveness. The Leopard 1A1 model was manufactured between 1975 and 1977. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this Leopard 1A1 to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

MAN Renntransporter "Porsche"

"Type 635 was a permanent feature of the newly developed lightweight series of MAN, introduced from 1960 onwards, which thanks to the engine rating complied at that time with the new registration laws. The 6.6 t cab over engine type was propelled by a new, small capacity, high-speed 135 hp engine. The features of the “Bullnosed COB” as it was popularly known, also included a compressed air hydraulic front brake, an eight-speed synchromesh gearbox, suspended pedals and a hydraulic clutch. With a net weight of 4,250 kg and an additional load capacity of 6,750 kg, the fast truck was predestined for use as a racing car transporter. For this reason, Porsche had the original vehicle converted into a suitable racing car transporter with a body suitable for the safe transportation of three vehicles. In addition, apart from an additional row of seats in the rear of the cab, the transporter also provided adequate space for tools and spares. Schuco is issuing 2,000 limited edition miniature models of this legendary MAN “Porsche” racing car transporter in the scale 1:18 in the PRO.R line. A small range model line made of resin has become established with this series, which stands for exceptional and highly filigree models. By means of this highgrade model-building plastic, it is possible to produce very rare and exotic exemplary vehicles in perfect quality and with a wealth of detail that has never been achieved before. MAN truck 10t GL BW 1:87

The 4-axle MAN 10t gl truck completes the MAN CAT-I family. Equipped with a 320 BHP Deutz engine, an exhaust turbocharger and charge air cooling, this truck has been used by the supply units of the armed forces divisions, brigades and corps groups of the army since November 1976. Because of the extended loading surface, this vehicle is used to transport bulk consumables such as ammunition and fuel, and supplies the combat units. MAN built two versions between 1976 and 1985. One version had a Rotzler 5-ton cable winch, and was intended for use with handling equipment such as fork lifts. The 464 model, on the other hand, had an Atlas-Weyhausen 1-ton loading crane mounted in the left-hand side in the middle of the loading surface. Mercedes Benz O 6600 1:43

Four years after the end of the war, in 1949 Daimler-Benz presented the first new post-war bus construction in the form of the Mercedes-Benz O3500. It was a typical conventional bus, which customers could purchase as an urban, overland or travel bus. The increasing demand for more passenger capacity was then fulfilled from 1950 onwards in Stuttgart with the long bonnet model type O 6600. Like the O 3500, the O 6600 shares a large proportion of the technology and the basic construction with the comparatively large commercial vehicle model series, which was the L 6600 in the case of Daimler-Benz. Manufactured from 1950 to 1955, the O 6600 was an integral element on the roads in the Germany of the economic miracle period, and made it possible for many Germans to make the long and much longed-for trip to the sunny south. Schuco presents the die-cast Mercedes-Benz O6600 in 1:43 scale. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

Mercedes Benz O319 1:43

Introduced in 1955 at the IAA in Frankfurt as a so-called “fast heavy goods vehicle” by Daimler-Benz AG, 140,000 of the Mercedes-Benz L319 model series were manufactured until production ceased in 1967. As well as the box-type van, the pick-up and the deep pick-up, the O319 small bus was also available. Equipped with roof edge glazing and 10 to 18 seats, the Mercedes-Benz O319 quickly became a serious competitor for the Volkswagen T1 Bus and the T1 Samba because of the significantly greater amount of room that it provided. Schuco presents the die-cast Mercedes-Benz O319 in 1:43 scale. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

Like the BMW M8 Coupé, the BMW 850i Convertible is clearly one of the BMW studies that never found its way onto the public highways. Developed as a competitor model for the new Mercedes-Benz SL R129 model series, which was also introduced at the 1989 International Car Show, this wonderful and unique BMW convertible unfortunately never made it to series production. Just 3 prototypes of the so-called BMW 850i based on the E31 model series were ever built and subjected to a comprehensive series of test drives before it was decided in Munich to stop the 850Ci convertible project because of fear that it would be a financial flop. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary BMW 850i to a scale of 1:18 in the PRO R line. After the rapid growth in the 50s of the desire for free mobility combined with the wish for travel to southern countries in large sections of the population, the camping culture became widespread as never before. It quickly occurred to a few talented vehicle developers that, in addition to the trailer caravans already known since the 20s, motorised caravans, motorhomes, could be developed. Thus, in California, a building kit appeared with which a VW Beetle could be converted into a low-cost version of a small motorhome - the Bug Camper. As well as demanding some handiwork skill, the conversion did take a good deal of time. The normal space in a Beetle was not enough for two beds, a table, wall cupboards and cooking facilities, so massive changes had to be made. To achieve this, the bodywork from just in front of the windscreen to the rear end was completely removed and a wooden superstructure was then built on the remaining chassis. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 500 pieces a miniature model of this legendary VW Beetle Motorhome to a scale of 1:18 in the PRO R line. This line, consisting of resin as the material, stands for exceptional and highly filigree small series models. By means of this highgrade model material, it is possible to produce very rare and exotic exemplary vehicles in perfect quality and also in low and exclusive production runs.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

Founded in the 19th century, Heinrich Lanz AG in Mannheim very quickly developed into one of Germany‘s leading agricultural machinery manufacturers. The Mannheim company started to manufacture farm tractors in the 1920s, and therefore played an important part in the motorisation of German agriculture. Farm tractors with a single-cylinder glow-plug engine were produced with great success under the name of Lanz Bulldog. These tractors made such an impression that the name Bulldog became widely used in Germany as a colloquial expression for farm tractors in general. The Lanz Bulldog was also produced in several different countries under license. It was produced as the Ursus in Poland, the Le Percheron in France, the Pampa T01 in Argentina and as the KL Bulldog by Kelly & Lewis Ltd. in Australia. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 1.000 pieces a miniature model of this K.L. Bulldog to a scale of 1:18. Just like the other models of the Schuco Edition 1:18, the Bulldog comes with many lovingly crafted details.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

Volkswagen AG developed a vehicle that was especially suitable for delivering letters and packages, emptying letter boxes and for use as a country postal vehicle on behalf of Deutsche Post (German Post Office) from the beginning of the 1960s. In order to be able to offer the vehicle to major customer Deutsche Post at a competitive price, VW delved into its parts warehouse. The 34 BHP Boxer engine originated from the 1200 Beetle and the chassis was the same as that of the Karmann Ghia. About 6000 of the VW model 147, which was affectionately known as “Fridolin”, were manufactured between 1964 and 1973. As well as the special postal versions for the German Post Office and the Swiss Post Office, a civilian version of the “Fridolin” was also manufactured. In the early summer of 1945, aircraft engineer Fritz M. Fend returned to his home town of Rosenheim. During the war he had been instrumental in the development of the Messerschmitt Me 262. In 1946, he began to develop a human-powered vehicle for the large numbers of disabled war veterans returning from the front, the “Flitzer”. In order to increase mobility, the three-wheeled “Flitzer” was subsequently equipped with a combustion engine. After years of further development and improvement, the time had come in March 1953 to present the first “Messerschmitt cabin scooter”, the KR 175. Success followed very quickly. In 1955 alone, the Messerschmitt factory produced more than 12,000 units of the 9 horsepower KR 200, which sold for 2500 Deutschmarks. The four-wheeled Messerschmitt Tiger, fitted with a 500 cc Fichtel & Sachs engine, was launched in 1958 as the top-of-the-range model with a power output of just 19.5 horsepower – but a top speed of 125 km/h. After a run of only 300 vehicles, production of the Tiger was stopped in autumn 1961, which makes this unusual small vehicle a sought-after and highly valuable collector’s vehicle today. Under the watchful eye of Renzo Rivolta, the founder of Iso Motor Italien S.A. based in Madrid, roughly 1,000 Italian Iso Isettas were manufactured between 1953 and 1959. The basic thought behind the development of the Isetta was the increasing lack of parking spaces in big cities and the growing demand for fuel efficient vehicles. The result was a bubble-shaped car on two front and one rear wheel, equipped with a 236cc, single-cylinder engine. The front door opened to the front with the steering column and sparsely equipped instrument panel swinging out with it. This cult car was also available as a flat bed truck known as the Isocarro. Schuco now presents a miniature PRO.R line model of the Isocarro flat bed truck in scale 1:18, loaded with wine demijohns and limited to 250 copies worldwide. This series has become established as a small series model line made of resin that stands for extraordinary and highly sophisticated models. Thanks to this top quality model-making material, it is possible to create extremely rare and exotic model vehicles in perfect quality and with never-before-seen precision.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

More than 76,000 examples of the classic Porsche 356 sports car were produced between 1948 and 1965. The Porsche 356 was offered to its enthusiastic customers as a Coupé, cabriolet and hardtop coupé as well as a more nimble and lighter Speedster version. To mark "70 Years of Porsche Sports Cars", Schuco presents an Edition 1:18 version of the Porsche 550 Spyder, limited to just 777 copies worldwide. Based on the technical principles of the Porsche 356, the specialists in Porsche’s Racing department developed the 550 Spyder between 1952 and 1953, which was originally designed exclusively as a racing car. The type designation "550" actually refers to the vehicle’s kerb weight of 550 kilograms, which is incredibly low by modern-day standards. Wrapped in lightweight aluminium body panels, the sports car was powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The overall victory of Italian racing star Umberto Maglioli at the world famous Targa Florio in Sicily in 1956 represented the first big sporting achievement of the still relatively young Porsche brand and helped to cement its image as a lightweight, reliable and highly-efficient sports car. Not least due to the huge demand from many sports drivers and well-heeled Porsche enthusiasts in the USA, the 550 Spyder was soon approved for road use and could be purchased from Porsche dealers for 24,600 German marks. Today, examples in good condition fetch up to 4 million euros. Just like the other models of the Schuco Edition 1:18, the Porsche 550 A Spyder comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and closing doors, a front opening hood and the opening bonnet under which the highly detailed replica of the "Fuhrmann engine" is accommodated.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

Founded in 1893 in the German town of Ulm by master wainwright Karl Kässbohrer, the company initially concentrated on the production of landaus, sleds, coaches and other vehicles. In 1952, Kässbohrer launched the first German series-production coach of the post-war period, the Setra S 8. The name „Setra“ (short for „selbstragende“) refers to the „self-supporting“ chassis and the number 8 stands for the number of rows of seats. In 1954, the Setra S 6, which was only 6.7 metres in length, appeared and rounded out the lower end of the series with a compact „club coach“ model. Thanks to its independent rubber suspension on all wheels, the Setra S 6 offered car-like drive comfort. By the time production of the S 6 ceased in 1963, more than 1200 vehicles had been produced. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 750 pieces a miniature model of this Setra S6 to a scale of 1:18. The Schuco 1:18 scale model with its array of functions will be an eye-catcher in any model collection.   Attention !b> Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

Schuco Piccolos still make a good impression today on account of their excellent running qualities and their heavy zinc die-casting design like the Mercedes-Benz with low loader and Porsche tractor.

Schuco presents the die-cast K.L.
