Daimler-Benz and its Austrian development partner Steyr-Puch were commissioned to build the Wolf in 1968 as a successor to both the VW Iltis (LKW 0.5 t gl) and the VW Type 181 Kübelwagen (PKW 0.4 t). Based on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, around 12,000 of the Wolf LKW 0.5t gl vehicles were supplied to the German armed forces in about 50 different variants, divided among the three wheelbases of 2,400, 2,850 and 3,120 mm. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this Wolf G to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.   Attention ! Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

In the course of its 65 years in production, the Volkswagen, developed in the 1830s by the Stuttgart design office, Porsche, under government contract, grew to be the most produced car in the world, overtaking the previous record holder, the „Tin Lizzy“ Ford model T. The most outstanding technical characteristics of the „Beetle“ were its streamlined shape, revolutionary for its time, its air-cooled 4-cylinder boxer engine, its novel platform frame and its newly developed torsion bar suspension, which, over the years, underwent a continuous development and improvement process. Documentation shows that, from 1948 to 1974, no less than 78,000 changes were made to the VW Beetle. So said the former Managing Director of the Volkswagen plant, Heinrich Nordhoff, in 1954 on the occasion of a VW Beetle meeting: „We are convinced that salvation lies not in new designs, however bold and magnificent they may, but in the thorough-going and never satisfied further development of even the smallest details to maturity and perfection, which indeed brings the really surprising success“. This is also true for the completely newly developed, 1:18 scale metal model of the 1963 VW Beetle, which is captivating with its multitude of painstaking details, making this model an enrichment for every VW beetle and model car collection.   Attention ! In its “Original shape” at the beginning of the 1960’s and designed by the oldest son of Ferry Porsche, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, known as “Buzzi”, the 911 was introduced to the enthusiastic public in 1963 as the successor to the legendary Porsche 356. The Porsche 911 did not have its first major visual revision until model year 1974. In the so-called G model, completely new bumpers with the typical black folding bellows were used to fulfil these requirements. In October 1974, at the Geneva Salon de l´Auto, the Porsche „Turbo“ was presented as the top model.   Attention ! Ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.

As the vehicle designation already indicates, the VW T3 was the third generation of transporters from the Volkswagen Group. The T3 was produced between 1979 and 1992, and gradually superseded the many VW T2’s in the many different troop units in the German Army from the beginning of the 1980’s. Here the T3 was used as an 8-seater for carrying personnel, as an ambulance vehicle, as a military police vehicle and as a flatbed truck for transporting materials. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this VW T3 bus to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. From 1955 onwards it was an important task to equip the new German army with reliable 5-ton trucks. Following a very comprehensive tendering process, MAN and Mercedes-Benz emerged as the winners. The LG 315 was a further development of the L 4500 army truck, and was delivered with an all-steel driver’s cab from 1957 onwards. From mid-1958 the Daimler-Benz 315 was exclusively produced with the standard driver’s cab and a folding soft top. More than 6600 of these vehicles were supplied to the German army over the course of time. The long-bonnet vehicle was powered by a 6-cylinder multifuel engine with a capacity of 8276 ccm and output of 145 BHP. Its unladen weight was a respectable 7.7 tons. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this Mercedes-Benz LG 315 to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. The 622 LS generates its 211 BHP with a water-cooled, 11.4 litre 6-cylinder diesel engine. Since the LS 633 is identical to its big brother the Favorit LS 626 apart from the lack of an exhaust turbocharger, four of the original nineteen 622 models which were built were converted to the 252 BHP Favorit 626 LS in the factory. The final Fendt Favorit 622 LS was built at Fendt in May 1982. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this Fendt Favorit 622 LS to a scale of 1:87. M47G Tank Patton 1:87

€18.99

The M47 Patton battle tank was an American tank from the Cold War. The Army Department‘s official designation for the M47 was - M47 Medium Tank – 90 mm Gun. The vehicle was named after General George S. Patton, the extremely popular but not uncontroversial commander of the 3rd US army during World War 2. Since Germany still had none of its own newly-developed tanks in the mid-1950s, it was decided to purchase a total of 1100 M47 tanks from the Americans. The first M-47 battle tank was handed over to the German Army on 19.01.1956 in Andernach. At the time, it was a major advantage to the German Army that the US Army had started to convert its tank units from the M-47 to the new M-48 in 1955. Because of this, used M-47 tanks were available at low cost or even free of charge in some cases. Only 600 of the 8500 M47 tanks which were built were delivered to the US Army. The remaining 8000 or so tanks were delivered to the NATO partners of the USA during the Cold War period. Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this M47G infantry combat vehicle to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.

Auto Union Grand Prix racing cars enjoyed great success on the track between 1934 and the start of the Second World War in 1939. These racing cars, planned and designed by Ferdinand Porsche, achieved performance figures that are still pretty respectable to this day. Even back then, the Auto Union Type C reached a top speed of 340 kph with its V16 engine. Furthermore, it proved to be the most successful car of the 1936 Grand Prix season and set no less than 30 world records. The memory of this legendary racing car is now honoured by a Studio II Schuco model in the form of a vintage toy. The kit contains the pre-assambled Studio II along with a tool kit and car jack. This tin model toy of outstanding quality is limited to just 1000 copies worldwide and will prove to be hugely popular thanks to its amazing details and unctional parts, such as removable wheels and steerable front axle. In addition, the typical integrated winding mechanism of the Studio models turns this Studio II into yet another real gem of the Schuco range.   Attention !
