During the 60's the Austrian manufacturer Steyr-Puch tried to make the leap towards the automobile. After trying to design their own mini car, the Austrian forged a partnership with Fiat. An agreement was then concluded and Fiat sold to Steyr several Italian Fiat 500 frames, the latter of whom equipped them with a specific bi-cylinder engine, derived from the Italian engine. The car retains all its charm and the career of this version would keep going until 1973. 57 000 copies would eventually be sold. Solido presents the die-cast Steyr Puch 500 RSR in 1:18 scale. The model comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and a functioning steering system.   Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

The Beetle Sport is a variant designed to rejuvenate the clientele of the Beetle, which in 1974 was already celebrating 36 years of existence. Depending on the options, it had a specific presentation and equipment: an Indy steering wheel, race bucket seats, full-size carpet and rear window defogger. It was also possible to provide short staves, as well as a highend stereo radio. The engine did not change, the Volkswagen 1600 air-cooled engine remaining in place, with its characteristic and inimitable purr. This version would delight the Californian youth and 20,000 copies of this series would be sold in the United States. Solido presents the die-cast VW Beetle Sport in 1:18 scale. The model comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and a functioning steering system.   Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.
