VW T4b Westfalia Camper, red, 1:18

1:18 Edition

VW T4b Westfalia Camper, red, 1:18

€169.00

With the launch of the Volkswagen T4 Transporter series in August 1990, the era of rear-wheel drive and rearengined VW Transporters finally came to an end. While in the predecessor T1, T2 and T3 series the engine was housed in the rear of the vehicle, the completely redesigned VW T4 now featured a transverse front engine that drove the front wheels. In particular, this had the considerable advantage that the VW Transporter, like most of its competitors, now also had a lower-lying, continuous load area. This continuous load area was an extremely important sales argument and was quickly reflected in the sales success of the T4. In addition to the purely commercial version of the Transporter which was mainly used by business customers and public agencies, the Multivan and Camping versions were particularly popular with private individuals. Thanks to a very practical and well thought-out interior, these vehicles offered a considerable degree of comfort on long journeys, were ideal for recreational trips and, thanks to the redesigned chassis and compact exterior dimensions, provided car-like ride comfort. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 1.000 pieces a miniature model of this VW T4b Westfalia Camper to a scale of 1:18. Just like the other models of the Schuco Edition 1:18, the VW T4 comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and closing doors, a front opening hood and the opening bonnet under which the highly detailed replica of the engine is accommodated.     Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

PRO.R 43

Dutra D4K B, green, 1:43

€89.99

The Dutra D4K B was a heavy tractor with all-wheel drive, produced in the Hungarian „Red Star“ tractor factory. With its 90-hp, 6-cylinder diesel engine, with a displacement of almost 8 litres, the Dutra was rather top-heavy and particularly well suited to working heavy ground. With production starting in 1964, the D4K B very quickly displaced the very loud and uncomfortable track-laying tractor in the GDR. The agricultural collectives of the GDR could only obtain its successor as a heavy tractor, the Kirovets K-700 if, in return, they provided proof that a D4K had been scrapped. For this reason, almost all Dutra D4Ks in the GDR were scrapped, and any surviving examples are among the great attractions of any tractor meeting.  Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this legendary Dutra D4K B to a scale of 1:43 in the PRO R line. This line, consisting of resin as the material, stands for exceptional and highly filigree small series models. By means of this highgrade model material, it is possible to produce very rare and exotic exemplary vehicles in perfect quality and also in low and exclusive production runs.   Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

Mercedes-Benz Trac 1800, 1:32

Mercedes-Benz Trac 1800, 1:32

€69.99

To counter the fall in sales of the Mercedes-Benz Unimog in the agricultural market in the mid-60s, Daimler-Benz decided, in 1967, to develop its own range of tractors on the basis of existing Unimog component units. The result of these efforts was the MB Trac 65/70, presented in 1972, where the 65/70 designation stood for 65 DIN or 70 SAE-hp. Produced until 1991, the MB Trac 1800 Intercooler represented the absolute flagship of the range. 190 of this 180-hp vehicle, equipped with a 6-litre, six-cylinder diesel engine, were produced in the Unimog factory in Gaggenau. Schuco presents the Mercedes-Benz Trac 1800 as a high-quality metal miniature in the popular 1:32 scale. The Schuco Edition 1:32 is highly impressive due to its very detailed and precise finish. The tractor has functioning steering and is without doubt a must-have in every tractor collection.    Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

After 17 years in production, the VW T1 Transporter was getting rather long in the tooth and ever more competitors were trying to secure a place in the lucrative small transporter market. So it was that, in August 1967, Volkswagen 1967 presented the second generation of the VW Transporter, the T2. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.   Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

Porsche 911 S Coupé 1973, gold metallic, 1:18

€139.00

The long-awaited successor to the Zuffenhausen car brand’s first production sports car, the Porsche 356, was presented in September 1963 at the IAA in Frankfurt under the name Porsche 901. Since three-digit number designations with a zero in the middle were already copyrighted by Peugeot and, as a result, an objection had been made to the “901” designation, Porsche decided without further ado to release the car onto the market under the name Porsche 911. A model name which very soon started to have a magical effect on the motor world and all sports car enthusiasts. Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 911 pieces a miniature model of this Porsche 911 S Coupé to a scale of 1:18. Just like the other models of the Schuco Edition 1:18, the Porsche 911 S comes with many lovingly crafted details, such as opening and closing doors, a front opening hood and the opening bonnet. A fine miniature version can be found in the engine bay of the air-cooled, 2.4-litre, 6-cylinder boxer engine which produced an impressive 190HP in the original and made the Porsche 911 S, with its maximum speed of 230km/h, one of the fastest sports cars of its time. The likewise very finely detailed interior of the miniature Porsche is based on its full-size model and shares many details, like the five circular instruments typical of the 911 and the equally characteristic orange-coloured needles.    Warning! Not suitable for children under 14 years.

VW T4b Caravelle, silver, 1:18

1:18 Edition

VW T4b Caravelle, silver, 1:18

Schuco is going to produce in a limited edition of 1.000 pieces a miniature model of this VW T4b Caravelle to a scale of 1:18.
